What's New

Waterborne Environmental, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of CropLife AmericaExternal link (CLA) voted to accept the company as an Associate Member at their Winter Board meeting in Florida. CLA is the nation’s largest trade organization for agriculture and pest management. They currently represent more than 60 developers, formulators, and distributors of crop protection products that are integral to American agriculture. The overall goal of crop protection is to enable farmers to produce the best quality, highest yield crops possible, while in turn, providing consumers with a safe, affordable and dependable food supply.

CLA has evolved over the years from being solely focused on promoting the use of insecticides and fungicides (the association was formed in 1914 and initially called The Agricultural Insecticide and Fungicide Association) to having a broad focus on all aspects of agriculture. Over the past 100 years, the science and technology of agriculture has undergone profound change. Today, great emphasis at CLA is placed not just on crop protection but also on issues such as biotechnology, sustainability, ensuring a safe and abundant food supply, and mitigating environmental effects associated with agricultural production.

We look forward to engaging with CLA to help improve scientific research and environmental stewardship through a better understanding of the collective needs of agriculture’s many stakeholders including USEPA, USDA, USFWS, NMFS, environmental groups, commodity groups, farmers, and consumers.
