Crop Residue and Accumulation Studies

Waterborne has conducted numerous crop residue, dislodgeable foliar residue (DFR), and accumulation studies in North America. The crop residue and DFR trials cover a wide range of agrochemicals, application methods, sampling techniques, crops (including turf, sugar cane, row crops, small grains, alfalfa, citrus, and pome fruits), and geographic areas. Accumulation studies such as those for nontarget organisms and irrigated crops have been combined with aquatic dissipation studies.

Waterborne has developed a diverse network of highly capable field operators, which allows us to place crop residue studies within all 13 crop regions identified by the US Environmental Protection Agency. In Central and South America, Waterborne personnel have consulted on several important tolerance studies.

Crop residue, DFR, and accumulation study types offered by Waterborne include:

  • Magnitude of residue (MOR)
  • Raw agricultural commodities
  • Process commodities
  • Import tolerance
  • Dislodgeable foliar residue (DFR)
  • Accumulation studies

Agrochemical residue accumulation studies offered by Waterborne, include:

  • Irrigated crop
  • Field rotational crop
  • Aquatic nontarget organism
