Drift tool
The potential for aquatic exposure from agrochemical spray drift is based almost exclusively on environmental factors, with consideration for the chemical/ physical properties of the molecule being evaluated. The spatial processing for drift modeling represents a characterization of the environment, and therefore can be applied to many different compounds and application rates.
The Drift Tool uses a vast database of climate data to allow users to generate distributions, percentiles, and histograms for specified distances. By choosing the appropriate agricultural landscape and crop, these results can be viewed as being a representative sample suitable as input for regulatory risk assessment submissions.
