Overview

We have taken part in hundreds of terrestrial field dissipation studies—both managerially and by hands-on. In every venture, we designed each study to meet regulatory guidelines such as the USEPA FIFRA Subdivision N Guidelines. We have also used a variety of study designs, pesticide application methods (e.g. broadcast, banded, multiple, aerial and seed treatment), sampling techniques (e.g. soil, water, air, and crop), and crops covering all geographical regions of the United States.

Our Developments

Due to the variety of studies we have conducted, we have been able to develop sampling techniques for a broad range of crops and find innovative solutions for atypical sampling requirements. We have designed terrestrial field dissipation studies for:

  • Turf
  • Tomato
  • Cotton
  • Small grain
  • Sugar cane
  • Orchard
  • Rice
  • Corn
  • Tobacco
  • Soybean
  • Other vegetables
  • Treated Seeds

Field Dissipation Studies

Field dissipation studies are conducted using contract research cooperators that have passed our detailed prequalification inspection. Waterborne has developed a diverse network of capable field cooperators which enables us to place a study anywhere in North America. We plan to expand our market for these types of studies in the near future.

Current terrestrial field dissipation study protocols have been designed to meet the NAFTA Guidance Document for Conducting Terrestrial Field Dissipation Studies, 2006. We confidently assist our clients with the designing of terrestrial field dissipation studies to meet these new guidelines, including electronic instrumentation to measure soil moisture.
