Training

Whether you want to establish baseline knowledge, improve existing skills, get a refresher, or build institutional capacity, Waterborne can help you achieve your goals. We offer training in environmental modeling, risk assessment, and geographic information systems (GIS). Our custom courses feature a rich blend of background information, case studies, and hands-on experience. The courses are one to three days in length and are typically taught at the client’s facilities.

Modeling and Risk Assessment

Environmental risk assessment courses focus on the use of accepted regulatory models including PRZM, EXAMSII, RIVWQ, and RICEWQ. Our risk assessment courses are designed to provide information on agronomic practices, US or EU registration for products, and hands-on experience with hydrologic models linked to groundwater and surface water models. Our staff can also provide training in EXPRESS, RADAR, FGRAT, PRZM INFOCUS, SWAT, and many other regulatory tools.

Waterborne provides introductory training sessions to USEPA’s pesticide registration policy, modeling requirements, and tiered modeling approach. These training sessions are suitable for people who are not working in the environmental fate and modeling field but need a basic understanding of the processes.

Spatial Information Technologies

Our custom GIS courses feature the latest ESRI technologies and address introductory GIS as well as advanced topics such as server-based solutions. Courses we offer include:
