In addition to providing data acquisition and development, Waterborne can host your data, dynamic maps, applications, and geospatial data portals.

Datasets

With decreasing resources it becomes ever more difficult for organizations to develop and maintain large nationwide datasets in-house. Using the latest GIS server technologies, Waterborne can host large, seamless datasets and maintain them for you. Using ESRI ArcGIS® Server technology, data are hosted on our servers, and you will be provided with secure remote access or replication of the dataset. When updated data become available, you will be notified and your local data can be updated accordingly. Hosted US datasets will be fully compatible with the GeoSTAC datasets.

Geospatial Data Portals

Waterborne's metadata portal is based on the ArcGIS Server Geoportal extension (formerly the GIS Portal Toolkit). The geoportal is a search engine for geospatial information resources. It acts as a brokerage service or collaboration tool for providers and end users of geospatial information. With the geoportal you can search for data, view live map services, and create metadata using an online form.

Waterborne, an ESRI Business Partner, can help your organization with the implementation, training, and customization of your geoportal. If you are unable to host your own geoportal, Waterborne can host it for you in a secure environment.

Web-based Maps and Applications

Waterborne can develop and host web-based dynamic maps and applications using ArcGIS Server software. These dynamic maps allow users to interact with the maps online to view different types of data and geographic areas. They are used in geoportals and stewardship programs.
