Dan Perkins, Ph.D.
Dan joined the Waterborne team in September of 2014 in our Champaign, IL office, leading teams in the Data Technology and Modeling groups. Dan came to Waterborne after three years at FMC Corporation and three years at Syngenta, where he held various roles of increasing responsibility within their Global and US Regulatory Sciences Groups. Over this six-year period he focused on risk assessment techniques within various global regulatory systems. Dan has extensive experience with NAFTA regulatory issues including endangered species, ecological, and human health risk assessment techniques and associated data requirements. More recently, he has been directing company and industry efforts with risk assessment and data requirements in the emerging regulatory environments in Latin America. Dan has also lead regulatory and science efforts in European Union 1107 compliance. Through his service on industry working groups with CropLife America, CropLife International, and the FIFRA Endangered Species Task Force (FESTF), he has provided expertise to address regulatory and technical issues and will continue to support such efforts to promote quality science for environmental and human health risk assessment.
