Scott Dyer, Ph.D.
Senior Scientific Advisor
Scott Dyer brings a deep and diverse scope of expertise in environmental research and development, as well as industry and regulatory knowledge, to his work with the staff and clients of Waterborne. He recently retired after 27 years as environmental expert for Proctor & Gamble, where he developed in vitro methods of assessing bioaccumulation and utilized country-wide exposure modeling. Much of his work with regulatory and government agencies such as US and state EPA offices, USGS, the European Chemicals Agency and the UK Environment Agency, among others, has furthered the science around ecological risk assessment.
Scott has provided leadership for many influential professional platforms such as the Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC), as well as a wide array of trade associations, including: American Chemistry Council, International Council of Chemical Associations, American Cleaning Institute, Personal Care Products Council, Cosmetics Alliance Canada, Cosmetics Europe, and the European Centre for Ecotoxicology and Toxicology of Chemicals. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Water Research Foundation, the largest non-governmental funder of environmental research in North America.
At Waterborne Scott will work closely with our Science Development Group, applying his skills and knowledge to upcoming environmental issues and research for clients in the US, Europe, and elsewhere.
