Senior Regulatory Advisor
Wayne White brings a 31-year career with the US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) and leadership roles in ecosystem services private markets both in the US and abroad. He graduated from the Department of Interior’s (DOI) Manager Development Program and his career there focused mainly on implementing the ESA. He was awarded the Secretary of Interior’s Meritorious Service Award in 2000. In the private sector, he has worked extensively in mitigation and conservation banking in the US and internationally. He has served as a consultant to international efforts in the Business and Biodiversity Offset program, developing offset policy and guidelines for governments and corporations overseas. He is recognized as an international expert on the US conservation banking model.
As Senior Regulatory Advisor, Wayne will provide thought leadership, as well as a unique opportunity guide to clients moving through the regulatory process. His insight will complement our expert staff and team experience working with the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) and Environmental Protection Agencies (EPA) Endangered Species Act (ESA) authorization processes, leading to improved outcomes in endangered species viability and pesticide risk assessments that are more practically linked to the landscape.
