We are pleased to announce Nikki Maples-Reynolds has joined Waterborne as a Toxicologist.

Nikki joins us after 12 years of experience at ToxServices, LLC, ICF International, and the Cosmetic Ingredient Review where she specialized in toxicological hazard assessments, human and environmental risk assessments, product safety, regulatory compliance risk ranking, data gap analysis, and classification and labelling of chemicals.

She has a wide variety of experience in hazard classification of chemical pollutants of concern, including antimicrobials, pesticides, cosmetic ingredients, consumer products, food additives, industrial chemicals, metals, and persistent organic pollutants. She has provided human health and toxicology support for several Federal (DoD, DHS, EPA, FDA, and USDA) and International (Nickel Institute and CONCAWE) clients. Nikki has technical experience in hazard identification and non-cancer and cancer dose-response assessment, including quantitative risk assessments such as benchmark dose modeling for both carcinogens and non-carcinogens. Recently she has provided chemical hazard assessments for industry to assist their environmental sustainability goals. She’s served as a key contact for manufacturers, regulators, and science advisory panels on risk assessment and the application of science to promote human health and environmental sustainability. Nikki has experience with several computational modeling approaches to fill data gaps for hazard assessments.

We’re proud to welcome Nikki to the team and excited for the depth she adds to our expertise in regulatory compliance consultation, toxicology and risk assessment support.
