The distribution, sale, and use of crop protection chemicals in the United States is governed by the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) and regulated by the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). We stay current with the USEPA’s evolving guidelines and maintain excellent working relationships with regulators. Our understanding of the limitations in existing procedures allows us to recommend more accurate, refined data for registration. We are experts in exposure modeling used in the FIFRA framework, such as PRZM, SWCC, AgDrift, TerrPlant, T-REX, and T-Herps.
Waterborne has extensive experience with higher-tier exposure analysis and the use of regulatory models such as FOCUS, PELMO, PEARL, and MACRO in support of registration submissions for Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009. Our staff have pioneered the use of GIS and remote sensing for landscape-based exposure assessment which have been successful in both Annex I and Annex III inclusions.
